Brothers Do Cookout Right!

Welcome to Cookout Tuesday

First off, for any of you out there still dealing with cold weather, my deepest condolences.

This past Sunday my brother and I got together for a cookout to watch the Miami Heat kick the shit out of the Boston Celtics.  It was a good ol' time.

Black Bean Puree, Braised Pork Shoulder, Avocado, Pickled Onions, White Cheddar, Fresh Marjoram

BBQ Baby Back Ribs

I ate so much, I was in a damn food coma Sunday night.  Well worth it though!

  1. looks amazing- we also did BBQ and tons of garden work this weekend- love being in the sun- my monkeys even went for a dip in the pool but it was not near 88!

  3. Beautiful! From the beautiful blue sky, to the gorgeous pool, to your cute nieces, right down to the mouthwatering showcase of food! Now that's the way to really enjoy a Sunday. Super jealous of that pool. We still have snow on the ground! Dang Canadian weather!

  5. We hit the low 90s in San Antonio this past weekend too...summer's definitely on the way here. We have two weeks of spring and then go straight to summer until October. Food looks good...especially those tacos!!

  7. OMG, Soooooooooo jealous. Had our coldest day of the year today, 5c... Brrrr.... :( Love the pictures, I adore hanging with the family, and totally get a load of that gorgeous tomato. What a fab day you experienced. :)

  10. I'm so jealous its sunny there! NZ is coming up to Winter and it's getting a tad cold :( I feel like I've been in Winter all year long seeing as I left Korea during the middle of Winter too. Those ribs look to die for! Yum

  14. Wow, I'm so jealous of that BBQ you have, and the pool!! We had nice weather in the UK last weekend too, but we just stayed in the grassy garden with our pitiful excuse for a barbecue :)

  15. Oh, the sad world of the apartment dweller... how I miss cookouts. I can live vicariously through you though... what a feast!!! It's cold and damp up north... your weather is still months away! Black beans and pork shoulder look amazing!

  16. What a feast!! Our temps are rising quickly, so we will grill more in the evenings!! Food coma, lol
    glad miami beat boston (hate them!)but I am a die hard houston rocket girl, even though they totally blew it at the end of the season, so like them!! swoon scola!
